We collect the following categories of personal information: Contact information: Your name, email address, and phone number when you submit a contact form, volunteer inquiry, or donation. Organizational information: Your company or organization name and role when relevant to a partnership or sponsorship inquiry. Program referral information: Basic information about individuals referred to our programs, collected only with their consent and used solely to connect them with the appropriate program. Website usage: Standard web server logs including page visits and browser type, used only to improve our website.

We use your information to: • Respond to your contact form, volunteer inquiry, or donation • Connect you with the appropriate program or team member • Send program updates and newsletters (you can unsubscribe at any time) • Process donations and issue tax receipts when applicable • Report to funders and grant agencies on program outcomes (aggregated, non-identifying data only) • Comply with legal obligations under Canadian law We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Under PIPEDA, we collect and use your personal information based on your consent, which you provide when you submit our contact form or otherwise communicate with us. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@oneroofcommunityfoundation.ca. We will stop communicating with you and delete your information as described in Section 7.

We share your information only with: Our six programs: FeedingTogether, VoiceToValue, ElderLight, CommunityRise, YouthForward, and PathSpark — only when you have requested connection to a specific program or consented to referral. Service providers: Email and web hosting providers under data protection agreements. Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by Canadian law or court order. We will never sell your data.

As a Canadian resident, you have the right to: Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate information. Withdrawal of consent: Stop us from using your personal information. Complaint: File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca. To exercise these rights, email info@oneroofcommunityfoundation.ca. We respond within 30 days.

Volunteer and contact data: Retained for 24 months from last contact, then deleted. Donor records: Retained for 7 years as required by Canadian tax law. Program referral data: Retained only as long as needed to complete the referral, then deleted. To request deletion of your data, email info@oneroofcommunityfoundation.ca.
